It is often the case that decisions on fire protection come quite late in the design process. Interact Fire Protection have devised a highly decorative casting that can be installed during the installation of Macalloy rods or retrofitted following installation. The finish, as well as the fire performance and integrity, is the same using either method.

The design replicates the existing mezzanine with small diameter Macalloy Tension Rods.  The castings conform to the new requirements which stipulate that the tension rods must be specifically fire tested.  Interact Structural Fire Protection has all the necessary specific test data to meet building regulations.
